Veridian Healthcare Replacement Heat Conductive Back Wrap

This is a wrap for Veridian’s TENS + heat conductive devices for backs. It does not include the TENS controller. It fits a wide range of waist sizes and has a belt extender which will allow it to fit up to a 62-inch waist. This physical therapy transcutaneous neuromuscular electrical stimulation system is an electrically powered unit intended to apply various modes of electrical stimulation transcutaneously to treat neuromuscular symptoms and disorders typically as a form of physical therapy.

TENS therapy uses low voltage electrical current to provide pain relief. There are two hypotheses explaining how TENS works. One hypothesis is that the electric current stimulates nerve cells that block the transmission of pain signals, modifying perception of pain. The other hypothesis is that nerve stimulation raises the level of endorphins, which are the body’s natural pain-killing chemical. The endorphins then block the perception of pain.
